My Dear Brothers in Christ,
You have bestowed upon me the great honor of being your Faithful Navigator. I would like to thank our PFN SK Henry Armstrong for his leadership, inspiration and friendship. I will be looking to him for guidance as I take the reins and try to follow in his footsteps and those of our dear brother SK Jim Joly, may he rest in peace with our Lord.
I find myself wondering if I am up to the task and I hear the words “if it is to be, it is up to me” followed by “seek and you shall find, ask and it shall be given”. Therefore, my dear Brothers, I will seek your help and guidance in the tasks ahead of us this next fraternal year.
I would also like to thank our Color Corps Commander, SK Kevin McCarthy for his inspiration and leadership with our Honor Guard. Congratulations to all the Honor Guard members for a well-deserved award as the Honor Guard of the Year. Let’s keep up the great work. I hope more of our Brothers will join us in this endeavor. I know we can’t make it to every call out, but the more members we have participating, the better chance we have of showing our Assembly’s presence. This is one of our greatest opportunities for fellowship, fraternity, and working together as a team.
My congratulations and welcome to our new Sir Knights from the most recent exemplification. There are more exemplifications coming up and I hope to be able to participate in some of them.
With your help and guidance I know we will continue to be one of the strongest and most active Assemblies in the state.
